Ric’s Backyard

From its inception Ric's has been an incubator venue, the place you play in order to discover your sound, find your feet and launch into the industry. Having hosted the likes of The Chats, Jungle Giants, Tones and I and Megan Washington, Ric's is the original musical mogul of Brisbane. The strangling capacity rules during COVID in 2020 necessitated a move of the live music production from our original front bar into the backyard. Since this development, the space has seen incredible upgrades in equipment and more importantly the potential for exposure. Rics maintains its roots in live music, platforming new artists 5 nights a week, every single week of the year. We now have three unique rooms highlighting live music, karaoke and DJ performances open 7 days a week.
