Presentation The Push presents: Young Australian Music Audiences

2024 has seen a significant focus on the declining attendance of young people at music events and festivals across the country, but only speculation as to why. In its inaugural national survey of young people across the country, Australian youth music organisation The Push will present new findings and insights, detailing the current relationship between young people and Australian music. Presented in partnership with the Australia Institute and RMIT University, this session will unpack emerging trends and changing preferences, as well as opportunities for young people and Australian music now and into the future.
