About
Local the Neighbour is the DIY project of David Quested. After an excessive amount of training to become a jazz drummer, David had an early quarter life crisis, realising he wanted to return to his love of song forms and rock music. Choosing to make a ‘jexit’ (jazz exit), Local the Neighbour was born to explore David’s love for production, songwriting, and future back problems from working hours in his attic studio in Flemington.
