About

BIG NOTER is the all-new project from Aboriginal Australian icon BRIGGS, a proud Yorta-Yorta/Wurundjeri/Wemba-Wemba man from country Victoria.

Having spent the past 15 years touring extensively across Australia and Europe, headlining shows, playing major festivals and supporting legendary artists such as Body Count, Ice Cube and Ghostface Killah, BRIGGS is now tapping into his hard-core, punk and metal roots, with a full live band in tow, trading Hip-hop beats for giant riffs in a return to the heavy sounds he grew up on.

Working with acclaimed engineer & producer Nick Didia (RATM, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen), BIG NOTER released their first single ‘Identity’ in April before debuting their live show supporting legendary Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello on his Australian tour.

With the release of second single ‘Talk Straight’, a number of shows followed, including a European tour with Amyl and The Sniffers, an Australian tour with Karnivool, a sold out debut headline show at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club, and upcoming November tour with Skate Punk icons Suicidal Tendencies.

With more shows to be announced and a debut album well on the way, BIG NOTER continue to storm their way through 2025
