Becki Whitton

Becki Whitton is an engineer, songwriter and producer working out of Melbourne’s Carriage Studio. Her work spans range of genres – from pop/folk/indie (Stella Donnelly, Ruby Gill) to electronic (Banoffee, 潘PAN), to ambient-experimental (Brambles, Dear Laika). Becki has received ARIA, AWMA, AIR, MPEG and Music Victoria Award nominations for her sound work. Alongside her engineering career, Becki makes music under the moniker of Aphir for which she has performed marathon 8 - 12hr vocal improvisations and supported the likes of Chelsea Wolfe and Tangerine Dream.
