Sean Foran

Sean Foran is an award-winning Australian pianist, composer, broadcaster, educator and researcher based in Brisbane. An ARIA Award nominee, and eight-time Queensland Music Award recipient, he is best known for acclaimed ensembles Trichotomy and Berardi/Foran/Karlen and has performed across Europe, the UK, Asia and the Americas. His creative work spans jazz, improvisation, chamber music and contemporary composition, including projects with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Theatre, Expressions Dance Company and Topology. Sean is Head of School: Sound at SAE University College Australia, where he leads higher education programs in music and audio.
