Briese is the Head of Creative Services at Kobalt Music Publishing Australia, joining the company in 2017. Kobalt is the world’s largest independent music publisher representing writers such as Paul McCartney, Max Martin, Childish Gambino, Rufus Du Sol and Tash Sultana.
Prior to Kobalt Briese spent ten years in artist management, six of those on the board of the Association of Artist Managers (AAM). She worked with artists including Paul Kelly, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Drones, PVT and Cub Sport and founded management, PR and events companies. Briese got her start in music promoting live events and hosting a community radio show.
