#About

Candice Lorrae is an award-winning artist and music producer of Jawoyn and Torres Strait Islander heritage, based in Melbourne/Naarm. She brings 23 years of experience in the music industry to her studio, Candy Suite, where she writes, collaborates, and produces for recording artists, filmmakers, and theatre companies. As one half of the former electronic pop duo The Merindas, she collaborates with ARIA Award-winning producers. Specialising in a diverse range of music genres, Candice is dedicated to bringing each artist's vision to life. She is also a champion for female First Nations producers and emerging talent through the Singing Our Futures Program, an initiative formed with Uncle Archie Roach and his foundation, in partnership with Culture is Life. She is deeply honored to help carry forward this vital part of his legacy and aims to strengthen the program to one day support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists across the entire country.
