Kris is the Chief Executive Officer of QMusic, Queensland's statewide music industry representative body, overseeing events including BIGSOUND, Australia's largest music industry event; the Queensland Music Awards; Valley Fiesta; and industry development programs across the state.
Previously, he was Artistic Director of Brisbane Powerhouse and founded events including the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, Festival of Voices, and MELT Queer Culture Festival, while heading the Brisbane Comedy Festival and Australian Performing Arts Market.
Kris was featured in the Courier Mail's Queensland Arts Power List, received the Sir Keith Murdoch Prize for Leadership and Gilbert Spottiswood Churchill Fellowship. He's an alumnus of the Australia Council Leadership Program and Lincoln Center Directors Lab.
