Pixie Weyand is a Music Festival Programmer at SXSW. In this role she works with artists and presenters from around the world, including Australia and New Zealand. Recognized as the world's premier music showcasing event, SXSW brings together the global music community, alongside the tech and film/TV industries, for a week of networking and live showcases in Austin, Texas, featuring more than 1,000 artists from 60+ countries. Pixie was previously owner/booker of The Zoo, one of Australia's longest-running independent venues. Her background also includes publishing, sync, A&R and label services.
